₹5,000 to your account when that society finishes its first billing cycle. Track every referral's stage in the app.

What counts, when you're paid, what we won't do.

What counts as a referral

A society that hasn't already spoken to us, introduced with a real contact on the committee. The referral is locked to whoever submitted it first.

When you're paid

After the society completes its first billing cycle on Zwangu — the same cycle that's free for them. That's the point at which they've actually adopted it, not merely signed.

How you're paid

Bank transfer or UPI to the account on your referrer profile, within 15 working days of go-live. TDS is deducted where applicable and the certificate is issued to your PAN.

No cap, no exclusivity

Refer one society or thirty; the amount per society doesn't taper. You're not our agent, you carry no target, and nothing stops you referring other software too.

What we won't do

We won't cold-call your building on your behalf, we won't use your name in marketing without asking, and we won't share your contact's details with anyone outside our onboarding team.

If a committee member refers

Tell your committee. A referral fee paid to a sitting committee member is a conflict your bye-laws take seriously — most societies prefer the ₹5,000 credited to society funds instead, and we're happy to do that.

Before you ask us.

Do I need to live in a Zwangu society?

No. Referrers sign in with their own account and don't need to belong to any society on Zwangu.

What if the society talks to you but doesn't sign?

Nothing is owed and nothing is lost. Your referral stays on your list as "contacted" — if that committee comes back a year later, it's still yours.

Can I refer a society that's already using something else?

Yes, and those are often the best ones — they've already felt what's missing. We import from most existing systems and from plain spreadsheets.

Two of us know the same society. Who gets paid?

Whoever submitted it first, visible in the app the moment you add it. If it's already claimed you'll see that before you spend any effort.

Is there a referral code to share instead?

You can share your link, but the ₹5,000 is tied to a submitted referral with a committee contact — not to a download. A society that installs the app on its own isn't a referral.

How long does go-live usually take?

Most societies are live inside a week of saying yes, and the first billing cycle is a month. So expect payout in roughly four to six weeks from the introduction.
