Gate security

The most important document in the society is a notebook at the gate.

Zwangu's guard module replaces it — fast enough that a guard with one free hand actually uses it, and wired into everything the committee later needs to prove.

Guard module runs on Android 8 and up — the phone a security agency actually issues.

Four taps

A visitor cleared before they finish saying the flat number.

01

Photo

Camera opens on the entry screen. One tap, no framing, no upload wait — it queues if the network is poor.

02

Flat

Type 1204 or scan the resident's pass. Recent and expected visitors surface first.

03

Purpose

Guest, delivery, staff, cab, vendor, material — one tap each, in the guard's language.

04

Resident decides

Approve or deny on their phone. Pre-approved names skip this entirely and the gate just opens.

Designed for the phone the guard already owns

The gate app isn't a shrunk-down admin console. It is the only screen in Zwangu we designed for one specific pair of hands.

  • Works offline — entries queue and sync when the network returns, with no lost records
  • Hindi, Marathi and English per guard, switched from the profile, not the app store
  • Hit targets sized for gloves and monsoon; the whole flow reachable one-handed
  • Runs on Android 8 and 2 GB RAM — the phone a security agency actually issues
  • Light and dark, because the gate is bright at 2pm and dark at 2am

Every gate action becomes a record someone needs later

This is what a paper register can never do: one log answers the resident, the committee and the auditor.

  • Attendance at the gate feeds payroll and the 360 Worker View — one source, no muster book
  • Tanker trips logged at the gate price straight into the utility ledger
  • Incidents carry photo, time and the committee member who was called
  • Vehicle and visitor history searchable months later, by flat or by plate
  • Parcel handovers signed, so “I never received it” has an answer

Upcoming

Hardware, when you ask for it.

The gate app works on its own. These two integrations sit ready and are built on request rather than shipped by default — hardware you haven't asked for is hardware you shouldn't pay to support.

Parked

ANPR — automatic number-plate reading

Plates read from the entry camera and matched against resident and expected-visitor vehicles, so a known car logs itself. Designed and parked: we build it when you ask, not before.

On request

Boom barrier & RFID

Controller integration is vendor-specific, so it's scoped to the hardware already at your gate — RFID or FASTag tags, existing barrier, existing wiring. Tell us the make and we integrate to it.

Rollout

One shift per guard. That's the training.

On site

We stand at your gate

A Zwangu trainer works the first shift beside each guard, in their language, on their phone.

Fallback

Paper stays for a week

Both run in parallel until the head guard says stop. Nobody is forced to trust software on day one.

Turnover

New guard, ten minutes

Agencies rotate staff. Onboarding a replacement is a profile and a walkthrough, not a training day.

Start free pilot

Put it at your main gate for one month.

Guards trained on site, paper register kept in parallel, and the visitor log exportable from day one.
